In August 2008 trainees had the opportunity to be involved with the running of the five main stages at the annual Celtic Blue Rock Community Festival. This year the focus will be on setting up and running the dance tent with a few trainees being allocated placements with the other stages.

Baby Blue Rock will also have its own youth area at the 2009 festival set aside for trainees and other young people interested in becoming involved in future projects to meet up. Information and refreshments will be available. There will also be DJ  workshops running during the festival with the chance for a lucky few to play in the dance tent itself.

From time to time news and updates will be circulated to let you know about new projects and events.

"I welcome the 'Baby Blue Rock' part of the festival, and cannot over-stress the importance of the technical support and back-up necessary for all areas of the performance aspect of the event, embodied in the total production, ie., lighting, sound, stage-management etc., to make the event work.

I feel that these are just as important for the spectacle, and groovy vibe, as the artists, themselves, their performance, and how they look."
