July News
Looking forward for the Celtic Blue Rock Festival!

Trainees are looking forward to being involved with
this years Celtic Blue Rock festival where they will be
given the opportunity to work with the stage managers on
the five stages over the weekend as well as working
alongside the festival crew.
After completing the basic sound, lighting and stage
management training courses, the trainees now have the
opportunity to see what is involved in putting on a
weekend music festival. Basic duties will be offered so
trainees can gain further experience while offering the
festival some much appreciated help with the huge task
of putting on an event of this size.
The trainees will
be treated the same as the rest of the festival crew
which is made up of volunteers. Crew camping and
hospitality will be available to all those
participating.
Above all this should be a great experience for all the
trainees involved and we wish them all the best - and
hopefully some sunshine too.
Look out for our information stand at the
festival and pop by to say hello!
